Tank Patrol is another turret defense game with a few added features. You are able to upgrade your tank between waves of enemy tanks with missiles, armor, added firepower…the usual. I am all for games with upgrade features but this one is too vanilla for me. Nothing really stikes as something that would uniquely identify Tank Patrol in a lineup of flash turret defense games.

The gameplay itself isn’t bad if you are a fan of the genre. What really gets to me is the annoying music. The fast beat was probably taken from a Japanese anime or a Final Fantasy style RPG it doesn’t at all fit the Tank battling theme.

Even though I don’t particularly like the game overall the graphics are nice. They remind me of Rock ’n Roll Racing from the SNES.
