Helix TD reminds me a lot of a WC3 TD called ‘Dragon TD’ (I believe)…purely because of the Sniper ‘Laser’ Turret and the Energy Generator.

The maze is quite simple it’s just a basic spiral pattern. Gameplay is fast, the game doesn’t lag out once you fill the screen with towers. Graphics are decent, not brilliant but good enough. I don’t see any major flaws in Helix.

It’s pretty simple when it comes to strategy. You need to strike a healthy balance between the Energy generators, the damage towers and the upgrades. Always try to build as many generators as possible to keep your energy income between rounds high. Figure out how to build the minimum number of damage towers to wipe out the next wave.

I only played one game but I assume you can do pretty well by basically filling the screen with energy generators. Then have 3 maxed out slowing turrets. Then have a few maxed out sniper towers in the center. Maxing out 1-2 chain turrets should also help.
