In Microbe Kombat you play the role of a dueling culture of amoeba. The goal is to eat enough protein to beef up your character until you are large enough to swallow the other micro organisms.

This game is decent, although it lacks strategy. You simply sit in the center of the board then race to protein as soon as it appear. Then use your abilities and eat the enemies as soon as possible. You do need to choose when to best use your special abilities but that seems a little trivial.

Overall I say Microbe Kombat is worth a play or two purely because of the gag/parody value but if you are looking for something challenging then look somewhere else…maybe try Vector TDx instead.
