I originally designed the Gaming Tags logo with Mephisto from Diablo 2 as inspiration. There are quite a few interpretations of Mephisto like the one above where he has bony appendages hovering on a partially smoky body. In my mind the smokiness was kind of secondary and the appendages were more like liquid tentacles than bones.

Regardless, he was my favorite character from Diablo 2. In my opinion that game had some of the best cut scenes ever. Here is a Act 4 scene from YouTube.
