This BlackBerry is brought to you by AT&T and is a good quality phone for its price ($250). This particular cell phone comes in various colors and is what you would expect from a Blackberry, but this particular one comes with a couple of new cool features.

If you’re an accessory type of person, this by far has got to be one of the coolest cell phones out on the market, if you’re seen with one of these things you’ll be the envy of all your friends. Its dimensions are slim and sexy (4.2 by 2.0 by 0.5 inches; 3.1 ounces) and if that’s not enough there are always tons of companies that are willing to deck it out with other cool stickers or additions.

The TFT screen on the BlackBerry Pearl is a whopping 2.25-inches and sports a palette of 65,000 different colors. This really helps when it comes to the camera feature, which can take great looking pictures with its x5 zoom and 1.3 megapixels. So this particular cell phone can take videos and pictures of higher quality than most other cell phones. Don’t expect the pictures to be fantastic, but at least with this phone, you’ll be able to see what it was you were taking without any problems. It does, too, come with different settings for your pictures such as fine, superfine, and low quality (1,280×1,024, 640×480, and 320×240 are the different dimensions that also come with it).

If you’re into music, you’ll enjoy how much music the BlackBerry Pearl can hold, the only problem with music (and other files in general) is that the port for the SD memory stick is located underneath the battery, this makes the whole unit smaller in general but it’s a pain if you ever want to replace it or remove it. Once it is in, however, it is very useful. You can even pick a song saved on the stick to use as your ring tone, any MP3 or AAC file will work with it.

Another nifty feature that comes with this Blackberry is its online map feature (GPS system doesn’t come included but can be added later manually). If you do want to turn your Blackberry into a navigator, all you have to do is equip the Bluetooth GPS receiver and you will be ready to go biking in the woods. There is no speaking voice that does it, but it does give you text directions to get to your destination.

The Internet capabilities of this Blackberry are just like any other Blackberry but it’s still great for texting with your friends or posting on online forums with its QWERTY similar keyboard.

There are no WI-FI capabilities on this Blackberry, but look for them in future Blackberries to come.

In all, the Blackberry Pearl is a great little cell phone for its price. Text, talk, and play games with your friends with this handy portable device and take short decent quality videos and pictures with it as well.
