Finally we got a new trailer for GTAIV, probably the most anticipated title of 2008. I must be high or something, because judging from this trailer, it actually seems that the fourth installment of GTA will _actually_ have a decent story. The graphics got degraded from the first trailer though, but you don’t really play GTA for eye-candy, do you?

It’s already been confirmed that GTAIV will have a smaller world than San Andreas, but a very detailed environment. This has been proven successful in the game Bully for PS2, where you were a kid stuck in a school with a small town nearby. If they will be able to take that idea to a full-on city, where every single character is unique and has his own personality, this would most probably be a phenomenon, similar to GTAIII in it’s own time. So it’s back to Liberty City, with Russians taking over it. Also I should note that Rockstar has hired some really top-notch Russian talent for this game, the rap from the trailer is performed by Ukraine’s (and Russia’s) most popular rapper, and the accents sound decent too — not overdone like in the Hitman movie.
