Keep the Keep Update - New Towers

Play Here: Keep the Keep

keep the keep update

The most recent update has made the game considerably easier. Your large towers now cost more and are slower but they do splash damage. The game would probably be more balanced if the splash towers had around half the current frequency throughout the upgrades.

KTK now allows you to place archers on top of the walls. I haven’t played a game without the splash towers to really get a feel for how the archers are balance wise. Just taking a shot in the dark, I would say they are pretty well balanced. Their cost, range and frequency seems about right.

Going forward I would like to see a little tower diversity. If all towers simply have a damage, range, rate and splash all you need to worry about is figuring out which tower is the most cost effective. Then just stock up on that tower and maze. It might take a game or two to get the proper tower to wall ratio but the overall strategy is reduced down to a few factors.

Multi Castle Idea
I think it would be a good idea to start this tower defense with a single red castle followed by about 5 rounds of red dots. Then you are forced to build a blue castle. After that about 10 rounds of alternating red and blue dots/waves come to eat your castles. Red dots seek your red castle while blue dots seek the blue castle. From here the game could continue with 2 castles or you could toss in a third green castle. This would force creative maze designs rather than the common monolithic spiral maze.
