Ant Buster is an interesting new type of tower defense. It may have been inspired by Picnic Panic TD but it also appears to have a few StarCraft roots. You can classify most TD’s as either a maze or a build-in-the-path. This one is definitely a build-in-the-path style. The only difference is you are not able to maze inside the path. (like many StarCraft TDs)

Hi… I want to make a correction: Antbuster was inspired in Tower Defense by Roman Sanine and in a Ant Colony Pathfinding algorithm. The ants theme is a tribute for this algorithm.
I just saw Picnic Panic few months ago, and I don´t played it yet… Any similarity is only coincidence.

I found a bug. When ant taken the piece of cake, immediately was killed and cake has gone. It was never-ending game.
