Dragon Warrior was a true RPG of substance. Sure the game didn’t offer the same visual stimuli as some of today’s xbox 360 games but who could forget the classic “fortune has smiled upon thee”? I found satisfaction in finding even a few gold pieces from a treasure chest. The olde English commentary is classic. Finding all of Erdrick’s items and Gwaelin’s Love was also quite gratifying.
