Gaia Online is a virtual hangout with; many minigames, places to chat, and virtual avatars that are constantly being upgraded. Gaia is for the most part, anime-based, so if you dont like the “cute” avatars and games you may as well find something else.
This site was founded in 2003 by just a few comic book fans, back then it was just a forum without games or interactive avatars. Now it is a thriving community with millions of users wanting to make new friends or just have something to do when bored.
Gaia is child friendly and provides a nice, fun, social enviornment suitable for ages 13+. It has several contests that users can participate in such as poetry and art, and even if you have spent alot of time working on your profile page you may get awarded for that as well.
Gaia Online also allows parents to see exactly what is going on in the site by having a page that explains what everything in the site is about. Of course the parents can also make their own account if they so wish, which I’m sure many have and enjoy the game themselves.

Yes Gaia Online is very addicting it was tons of members the forums topics here recently Gaia was created a new website designed especially from Around the world members(English still included mean normal visitors to gaia online can log into it)anyways its designed to give 2x gold on posts to help members out.

The above referenced “international” website for Gaiaonline is a scamming site. As the customer service manager at Gaia, I can assure you we have no such site. Entering in any information on that website will assure your account gets stolen and hacked. Legal action is being taken as we speak.
bottom line: DONT GO THERE!

Gaia run by nothing but selfish bastards. I had been on their site since 2003 and had my account banned two months ago for something I did not do and have they not replied to any of my emails. And this isnt happening to just me but a lot of other members whose accounts have been banned for doing nothing wrong. They claim that they value customers but they couldn’t care less about them. Big waste of time since they don’t care about what you have to say.
