IMVU is another instant message service similar to Yahoo Instant Messenger or AOL Instant Messenger, except IMVU has a few unique differences. Chatting in 3D using highly customizable avatars, chatting with a random person, and even making your own items if you buy your name and become a developer.
IMVU is for the most part free. You are given options to buy additions such as your avatar name (if you don’t “Guest_” will be added before your name), buying a Try-it Pass (allows you to try an item for 15 sec. in a chat), buying a Gold Pass (discounts on items), and an Access Pass (18+ only, unlocks restricted content, including extra actions to use on other avatars). IMVU also allows users to purchase credits allowing them to buy more items or scenes. IMVU also lets other developers sell you their credits at a possibly cheaper price than IMVU sells them.

IMVU is fun, just dont spend one dollar on it, you will lose your stuff for no reason, it just disappears and you cannot get it back!

Yeah thats what happened to me I lost a lot and then they said it was in the TOS that they don’t have to give it back.

I’d think you should try a different email if you have one, and if you are younger than 13 you aren’t supposed to be able to join, but thousands do anyway by setting their b-day to act like they are older.
