Yeti Sports 4
The Yeti had spoken – off to Australia we go!
Yeti Sports 4 – Albatros Overload – is one of the Flash minigames from Chris Hilgert, the creator of the Yeti series. As always, we see Pingu the penguin and Yeti, this time with a flock of seagulls that are willing to help, in a manner of speaking. The purpose of the game is to throw Pingu up in the air – make sure he’s caught, though – and make the birds carry Pingu as far as possible.
Pingu stands atop a seesaw, opposite him being Yeti, waiting for you to click. Once you click, Yeti puts his foot down and sends the penguin soaring high above to the birds flying without a care in the world. The seagull then continues flying, this time carrying Pingu, and you manipulate the bird through clicks. Make the bird transport the penguin as far away as possible to get a cool score.
A couple of tips to bear in mind – don’t make the bird fly too high. The winds there are not that good, and in fact will make you lose power quickly. Content yourself with hovering – flying near the sand, or the ground – to save on power and to gain more distance. Altitude does not matter in this game – distance does.
When you fall, a scary-looking kangaroo hops out and shows you the distance you gained, in effect, your score. Never worry, though – you can play again. And again, to see how well you can beat yourself.
