Megaman X is an exciting and colorfully rendered Flash game which lets you control the famous Megaman in his quest to beat Sniper Joe. The game play is your standard side-scrolling platform game where Rock needs to jump from one platform into another to advance. Along the way, you would encounter various enemies namely, dragonfly, turrets and spinner. Dragonflies will kamikaze attack you by surprise. Turrets will shoot you and takes a few shoot to take down. Spinners are the more persistent enemies that will follow Megaman unless you shoot him down.

Although the game may seem simple at first, the difficulty comes in when jumping from one platform to another. The use of the arrow keys to move forward and backward can be frustrating at times. But of course, like any other side-scrolling platform games, it takes patience and practice to master the controls of the game. In fact, this frustration will make you play the game over and over again to finish it up to the boss battle with Sniper Joe.

Game control makes use of the left and right arrow keys to move forward or walk in the air. The up arrow key makes Megaman jumps and the spacebar is use to shoot down enemies.

And yes, like in any other Megaman games, the famous Dash move can be executed in this Flash game using the “end” key. Likewise, to fire a charged blast, hold down the spacebar for a couple of seconds and your blast fire will blow away the enemies.
