Final Defense 2 is a great example of what a Sim/Turret defense game should be like. There is a slight action element in that you are blasting attacking enemies with bullets, lasers, rockets…but the game really is more of a strategy game. You are given quite a few development option including new towers, building upgrades, mine factories, nuclear plants, economy upgrades…
