Newgrounds Sim v1.2 is a classic single player RPG/simulation game with a lot of unique characteristics. Instead of playing a hack and slash gladiator type character you are simply a flash gaming developer who likes to hang out at Newgrounds. The statistics in the game are kind of off the wall. Instead of having the classic STR, DEF, SPD, CHR, WIS…you have things like Blams, Saves and Cool Points. The goal is to develop reputation by creating the greatest flash game or movie around.

There are two things I don’t really like about the game. First of all it gets extremely repetitive after a while. It seems like you are simply waking up, posting in the forum and occasionally starting a new flash project. Then the whole process repeats.

I also don’t like how money is basically meaningless in the game. You are required to earn $100,000 but throughout the game you only end up spending a small fraction of that. It would be great if you could purchase high end equipment and be required to build and maintain a website of your own.
